Giving Accord Mortgages’ Business Development Managers A Boost

We did some rather revealing research with mortgage brokers on behalf of Accord Mortgages recently as part of a project we’re working on for the Bradford based national lender.

One of our findings was that brokers like it to be as quick easy as possible for them to find a Business Development Manager (BDM) when they’re looking to make an application for an Accord Mortgages’ product on behalf of a client. Consequently, Accord asked us to create a Business Development Manager Finder for its website, to replace the old, clumsy PDF document that lists the BDM’s names and contact details.

We have developed a finder tool that enables the broker to identify their local BDM by merely submitting the first part of their postcode (rather than their Accord broker ID or information they don’t have immediately to hand). Not only does the search provide the broker with all the contact details they need, we’ve also included a photo of each BDM to add a personal touch and enable them to put faces to names (and there’s a funky little placeholder graphic for the occasion when they’re waiting for a photo of the BDM).

We built the finder tool into Accord Mortgages’ contact section on its existing website so it’s easy to locate.
