Charities going social

October 21st 2011

Elmet Trust goes social We’re a charitable bunch at DC and there’s nothing we like better than donating our creative and technical expertise to a good cause - even if we are incredibly busy. Which is where The Elmet Trust comes in...

Just in time for the Trust’s Ted Hughes Festival, we’ve created a whole new page for its website dedicated to social media - free of charge. Featuring pull-ins from its Facebook fan page, a Twitter feed and AddThis sharing – the whole page is a more creative and convenient way of communicating with fans and supporters of The Elmet Trust.

We think it’s just great – and so do the Trust’s fantastic volunteers.

The Elmet Trust is a charitable company whose purpose is to promote and celebrate the life and works of Ted Hughes, Mytholmroyd’s famous son and late Poet Laureate. The Project involve a small group of very lovely and enthusiastic volunteers who love Ted’s work and are determined that his literary legacy will live on through events such as exhibitions, festivals and walks in Mytholmroyd, West Yorkshire.

You can check out the social media page we have created for them here www.theelmettrust.co.uk/social.
