Another exciting new site

Balls and Mauls website deisgn Digital Consortium are scoring points with Rugby Union devotees from around the world, after being commissioned by Candeo Media to lead the design of its client Cheetah Sport’s new rugby fan site www.ballsandmauls.com, which launched on 5th December.

Digital Consortium provided creative direction on the project and designed the site to keep on the ball from the fans eye view – providing a platform from which they can share their experiences and opinions with each other. The overall brief from Cheetah Sports was to devise a design concept that is alternative, irreverent, fun and that keeps people coming back for more.

Candeo Media built and programmed the site around Digital Consortium’s design. With the emphasis very much on the social side of the game, feature based articles and contributor information make up the bulk of the content, as opposed to the traditional mainstream news that is found on competitor websites.
