A little about our award-winning company

Founded in 2007, the Digital Consortium team is built upon years of experience in marketing over many different sectors, as well as specialist technical and creative expertise. This solid bank of experience, infused with a healthy dose of young, fresh thinking, enables us to advise and guide clients to explore new ideas, generating strategies that are of sound business reasoning and inspirational creativity.

Our skills pool stretches from strategic development and marketing services, through creative interface design, brand development, information architecture development and e-marketing, to related training and maintenance services.

The solutions that we develop address areas as diverse as re-branding, promotional campaigns, public and voluntary.

Accolades and achievements

In May 2009 we were delighted to win the Best Digital Start-up at the Insider Yorkshire Digital Awards. In the same year we were Highly Commended in the Best Small to Medium-Sized Business category at the Halifax Courier Business Awards.

More recently, 2011 saw DC nominated for three prestigious awards for our Find a Mortgage project for Yorkshire Building Society.  We were shortlisted for a Dadi Award in the Best Use of Video category for the animations we did for the Find a Mortgage microsite. The microsite itself was also nominated for a Cream award in the Digital category.

And as if that wasn’t enough, our whole Find a Mortgage campaign was shortlisted for an NMA Effectiveness Award in the Online Banking and Personal Finance category. If you’re not familiar with them the NMA awards are the UK digital media’s most prestigious award, so even to be nominated is a quite an honour.
